Interesting thoughts as always. I guess one of the issues involved may be that the smaller (and more creative for sure) players depend more heavily on specific individuals than the bigger ones who have a repository of intellectual property and significant resource back-up. This means that a departure of one or a few in a “start-up” will result in a massive vacuum in capabilities. How to include that evaluation (and the associated risk) into AI is beyond my understanding (but then again, so are a lot of other things).
